It was a crisp November morning, the grunting and snapping of twigs in the pre-dawn darkness told of the rut crazed bucks in the area. Crunching leaves gave away his approach, the arrow was off and when he crashed, the words, “his world just went dark” were uttered.  World Went Dark Outdoors was born. That was back in 2007 and since then, we have expanded our business and direction. We have added pro-staffers, great friends if you will, to grow WWDO along with us. Todd Davis and “The Esterly Boys”, Jack and Carl Esterly are vital parts of this organization.

We film all our hunts, which are 100% fair chase, adrenaline pumping, fast paced action hunts. Most are with our bows but occasionally you will see a gun. We pride ourselves in bringing the viewer into our world, showing them the up close and personal encounters we experience. The viewers will feel as though they are part of the hunt. We are as real as real gets, just some average guys living a dream. We capture everything involved in the hunt from the successes to the failures and everything in between. We are the reality for most working class hunters. Whether its a deer hunt, coon hunt, turkey hunt, or something else, we will bring the action to you!! You will feel like you’re there with us. It’s that close, and it’s that personal!! WWDO style!

JEFF RHOADSCO-FOUNDER

Born and Raised in Eastern PA, Jeff has been huting since the age of 12.  In 2007 he co-founded WWDO with his brother Jason Keffer and his passion is bowhunting the Whitetail Deer.

JASON KEFFERCO-FOUNDER

Inspired and trained by his “Pop”, Jason has been hunting for over 24 years.  In 2007 he co-founded WWDO with his brother Jeff Rhoads.  He is a Whitetail Deer hunter at heart but will chase just about any game.

CARL ESTERLYPRO STAFF

Born and raised in Berks County, PA, Carl has been hunting his whole life.  His true passion is bowhunting and he wants to pass along that passion to his daughter Gabriella and inspire others in her generation.

JACK ESTERLYPRO STAFF

With an outdoor addiction passes along by his father, Jack has been hunting, fishing and trapping since he could walk.  His passion is bowhunting Whitetail Deer and inspiring newcomers to everything the outdoors has to offer.

TODD DAVISPRO STAFF

Todd started his hunting career at the age of 12 and aside from his wife and three children, his passion is bowhunting.  As a former bow technician, Todd brings a wealth of experience to the team.
